Geoserve Energy Transport recruits for the profile of Credit risk manager situated at dubai.
Main responsibilities:

Put in place/adjust if necessary a global risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company

Assess, analyze and identify potential credit risks that affect various areas within the business, particularly on counterparty credit in the fuel supply division.

Management and integration of the KYC process for various new counterparties
-
Ensure that credit procedures and transactions comply with company policy and regulations.

Implementation and continuous improvement of the group credit policy and operational credit procedures
-
Reports on risks adapted to the relevant audience in the company
-
Conduct policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Responsible for the daily controls of vessels and counterparties. Selection of counterparties based on global credit risk database.

Assist in preparing reports and schedules for distribution to internal stakeholders and relevant external parties

Participate in quantitative risk assignments focusing on credit risk

Work effectively as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
Ideal candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with experience in credit risk control with experience of 3+ years, preferably in the shipping industry:

Strong academic background, preferably a degree or equivalent in banking/finance/accounting or similar

Experience in financial and/or legal services, either as part of a business or as a consultant in the field of credit risk

Knowledge of compliance, insurance coverage and financial control regulations

Confident and credible communicator who displays both technical and business understanding in the shipping and bunker industry
